Participants at the news conference for "Peonies: Flowers of Peace and Prosperity," an exhibition hosted by the National Palace Museum of Korea in Seoul's Jongno-gu District, on July 6 look at the works on display. Running from July 7 to Oct. 31, the exhibition offers a look at the royal culture of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) through the moran (peony). Around 120 household and ceremonial items with the flower drawn on them will be unveiled such as palace bowls, furniture and clothing.
