Yongin, Gyeonggi-do Province | Sept. 30, 2021
Five Korean tiger cubs (three female and two male) on Sept. 30 are unveiled to the public for the first time at the zoo within the theme park Everland in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do Province. Classified as a Class 1 endangered species, Korean tigers normally give birth to two or three cubs at a time, so the natural births of the five -- Ah-reum, Da-woon, Woo-ri, Na-ra and Gang-san -- on July 27 were extremely rare. Weighing 1 kg at birth, each cub reached 10 kg 96 days later.
