The KRW-USD exchange rate on the morning of Nov. 8 fell under the 1,400 level as shown on the screen of the dealing room of Hana Bank in Seoul's Jung-gu District. The domestic currency closed at 1,384.9 to the USD, down 16.3 points from the previous day, thanks to higher risk appetite ahead of the U.S. midterm elections.
