The sculpture "Hammering Man" in front of a building in the Gwanghwamun area of Seoul's Jongno-gu District on Nov. 21 has a hat and socks put on like those of Santa Claus. Made by American sculptor Jonathan Borofsky, the work is part of a series of monumental kinetic sculptures installed in 11 cities worldwide. As the largest in the collection worldwide, the Seoul sculpture strikes every 35 seconds to indicate the nobility of labor.
