Minister of Science and ICT Lee Jong-Ho on Dec. 28 announces that the nation's first lunar orbiter Danuri successfully entered lunar orbit at this year's joint briefing on next year's business plans of his ministry, Personal Information Protection Commission and Nuclear Safety and Security Commission. President Yoon Suk Yeol attended the briefing at Yeongbingwan, the official guesthouse of the former presidential compound of Cheong Wa Dae in Seoul. Danuri on Dec. 27 at 6 p.m. safely entered its mission orbit 100 km above the moon.
