Members of a pilgrimage group on the morning of Feb. 9 put their hands together at a ceremony for announcing a pilgrimage to India on the front yard of Daeungjeon (Main Dharma) Hall at Jogyesa Temple in Seoul's Jongno-gu District. The group of 100 Buddhist monks and followers from Feb. 11 to March 20 will embark on a 1,167-km journey to visit eight sacred Buddhist sites in India and Nepal.
