This year's Haeundae Sand Festival on May 19 kicked off at Haeundae Beach in Busan's Haeundae-gu District. Running through May 22 under the theme "2030 Expo Sand Land," the event has as its venues the beach and Haeundae Square on the city's Gunam-ro Street.
