Marking the 70th anniversary of the Korea-U.S. alliance, a taekwondo demonstration team from the Republic of Korea Army's II Corps on May 30 performs at the opening ceremony of this year's Korean Augmentation to the U.S. Army (KATUSA) Friendship Week at Camp Humphreys in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do Province. Now in its 46th year, the annual event promotes a stronger bond between KATUSAs, or non-commissioned Korean officers assigned to the U.S. Forces Korea, and American military personnel.
