Boston ivy and the indigenous flower haeguk (aster spathulifolius maxim) on Oct. 23 fully bloom on rocks on the coast of the town of Jumunjin-eup in Gangneung, Gangwon-do Province. A chrysanthemum that blooms on the beach, haeguk grows in places with good sunlight such as cliffs or steep slopes.
