Korean National Police Agency (KNPA) Commissioner General Yoon Hee Keun (right) and French Ambassador to Korea Philippe Bertoux on the afternoon of July 8 award badges at the launching ceremony for public safety volunteers for this year's Paris Summer Olympics and Paralympics at KNPA headquarters in Seoul's Seodaemun-gu District.

At the French government's official request, the KNPA will send 31 police officers to Paris to help manage public safety during the tournament.
