Children on the opening day of the Dunnae Goraengji (Highland) Tomato Festival on Aug. 9 throw and smash tomatoes in a massive pool to find hidden prizes inside including gold rings at Dunnae Sports Park in Hoengseong-gun County, Gangwon-do Province. Under the theme "Family Festival with Korea's Best Tomatoes," the event runs through Aug. 11.
