Emma Miskew of Canada on March 15 pitches a stone in a match against Lithuania at Uijeongbu Indoor Ice Rink in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi-do Province, on the opening day of the LGT World Women's Curling Championship. As a qualifier for next year's Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina, Italy, the tournament runs through March 23 with about 100 competitors from 13 countries.
