A competitor on July 11 breaks a pine board with a jumping kick at a national-international taekwondo event hosted by Kyungmin University in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi-do Province. Featuring all events of the martial art like poomsae (forms), gyeorugi (sparring), gyeokpa (breaking) and taekwondo gymnastics, the tournament through July 13 features some 6,000 competitors from across the country.
