A long line on July 30, which marks Jungbok, the second hottest day of summer according to the 24 traditional solar terms of the lunar calendar, waits in front of a famous samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) restaurant in Seoul's Jongno-gu District. Jungbok is traditionally considered the hottest time of the year, and the custom is to eat nutritious food on that day to recover from the heat.
