An exhibition of Taegeukgi (national flag) showing changes in the flag over the years is held on Aug. 11 at the outdoor square of Nodeulseom Island in Seoul's Yongsan-gu District. Marking the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day falling on Aug. 15, the display shows 16 models from the oldest surviving prototype dubbed the Owen N. Denny Taegeukgi, named after an American diplomatic advisor to the Joseon Dynasty, to that of the post-liberation era.
