The use of colored rice on Sept. 8 results in a work of rice paddy art near Mungwang Reservoir in Goesan-gun County, Chungcheongbuk-do Province. The county office was inspired by "Mudong" (A Dancing Boy), a classic painting by 18th-century genre artist Kim Hong-do, one of the greatest painters of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), to present a lively and dynamic spectacle.
