A tourist on Sept. 9 speaks to a staff member of the Saudi Arabian Embassy at this year's Salam Seoul Festival at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul's Jongno-gu District. "Salam" is a greeting in Arabic meaning "peace." Now in its third year, the two-day event features booths highlighting the cultures of 10 Islamic countries: Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and the United Arab Emirates.
