A man on Nov. 17, which marks the 86th Patriotic Martyrs' Day, pays silent tribute in front of memorial tables for those who gave their lives for the country at Dongnipgwan (Independence Hall) of Seodaemun Independence Park in Seoul's Seodaemun-gu District. The commemorative day honors those who sacrificed themselves for national liberation during the Japanese colonial period (1910-45).
