Children wearing Hanbok (traditional clothing) on Feb. 13 fill bags with tteok (rice cake) for use in making tteokguk (rice cake soup) ahead of Seollal (Lunar New Year) at a daycare in Seoul's Songpa-gu District. Made by boiling thinly sliced tteok, this traditional soup holds the symbolic meaning of raising the age of the eater by one year.
