The Royal Palace Royal Guard Patrol Ceremony on March 8 is held on Insadong Cultural Street in Seoul's Jongno-gu District. Held every weekend and public holiday for about an hour from 3 p.m. except in the summer months of June, July and August, the procession of royal guards of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) walks within Gyeongbokgung Palace on Saturdays and extends to the street on Sundays and public holidays.
