The parilmu (eight line dance) dance troupe of Sungkyunkwan University on March 24 performs the traditional dance ilmu at the spring edition of the Seokjeon Daeje (National Rite to Confucius) at the school's campus in Seoul's Jongno-gu District. Designated a National Intangible Cultural Heritage, the ceremony is considered the pinnacle of Confucian performing arts that combines majestic rites with music and dance.
