Marking Hansik (Cold Food Day), one of the nation's 24 traditional solar terms, workers on April 6 trim silver grass covering the burial mound of Geonwonneung, the grave of Joseon Dynasty founder Yi Seong-gye (1335-1408), aka King Taejo, among Donggureung (East Nine Royal Tombs) in Guri, Gyeonggi-do Province. Silver grass from the city of Hamheung in present-day North Korea was said to be planted on the mound in accordance with the king's will.
