A subway train adorned with images of and quotes from patriotic martyr Kim Gu (Koo) on Aug. 28, the day before his 150th birthday, runs along the tracks of Daegu Metro Line 3. In October last year, UNESCO officially designated 2026 an official year to commemorate his birth.
