On day two of the conference, participants will share their ideas on two agenda items; science and technology platforms and innovation sharing; and, an Asian science and technology network and sustainable development.

The science and technology-themed forum is part of the upcoming ASEAN-Republic of Korea Commemorative Summit. The summit, marking the 25th anniversary of the establishment of ties between Korea and ASEAN, will run from December 11 to 12 in the southern port city of Busan.

“This science and technology forum will help enhance ASEAN’s science-technology capabilities as well as further promote the globalization of Korea’s own science and technology,” said an official from the Korean Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning.
