A honey bee lands and collects nectar from some Korean winter hazel, or Corylopsis coreana Uyeki, as the flowers begin to bloom around the Jirisan Mountain Resort in Hyucheon-myeon Village, Hamyang-gun County, Gyeongsangnam-do Province, on March 23. Korean winter hazel is a flagship species known for being an out-of-the-way plant that grows only around Jirisan Mountain.
