Asiana Airlines has resumed its route linking Incheon to Nanjing, China.

The route on July 12 was restarted 105 days after its suspension in late March as part of the Chinese government's measures to contain the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The lone Incheon-Nanjing flight runs every Sunday at 12:20 p.m. and the sole Nanjing-Incheon flight departs the same day at 2:50 p.m.

Korean air carriers thus run four Korea-China air routes, with the other three being Incheon-Shenyang (Korean Air), Incheon-Changchun (Asiana) and Incheon-Weihai (Jeju Air).

The Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced that another three Korea-China routes will be added this month: Incheon-Guangzhou (Korean Air), Jeju-Xian (Jin Air) and Incheon-Shenzhen (Air Busan).

In late March, China limited the number of routes to and from Korea to one per week per airline to prevent importing COVID-19 cases from abroad. Thus ten airlines -- three Korean and seven Chinese --  each run one such route per week.
