K-pop boy band BTS has won the top group honor at this year's People's Choice Awards of the U.S. for the third consecutive year.
BTS on Dec. 6 won Group of the Year, Concert Tour and Collaboration at this year's awards in Santa Monica, California.
With a streak starting in 2020, the group this year beat out other competitive nominees such as BLACKPINK, Coldplay, One Republic and Imagine Dragons to win its third straight honor as the top group.
The boy band's "Permission to Dance on Stage" also earned them the award for best concert tour. The group held 11 shows in three cities -- Seoul, Los Angeles and Las Vegas -- attracting a combined 458,000 spectators.
BTS member Jungkook and American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth's joint song "Left and Right" also won the top collaboration award.
Last month, BTS won Favorite Pop Duo or Group and Favorite K-pop Artist at the American Music Awards. Its latest honors toward the end of the year have accentuated the group's status as a global superstar.
