Asan Medical Center, Samsung Medical Center and Seoul National University Hospital are among the world's top 10 specialized hospitals for cancer treatment.
The U.S. magazine Newsweek on Sept. 18 said this in releasing its annual list of the "World's Best Specialized Hospitals" for 2025.
Asan made the world's top five in oncology, endocrinology, gastroenterology and urology, finishing third in endocrinology for the third consecutive year.
Samsung was third in oncology and among the top 10 in gastroenterology and urology.
Seoul National came in fourth in urology and fifth in endocrinology.
Newsweek's list is based on surveys conducted on 40,000 medical staff in some 30 countries by the German marketing research company Statista. The rankings also consider accreditation data.
