Artistic gymnast Kim Han-sol on Sept. 28 performs a somersault in the men's floor exercise final at Huanglong Sports Centre Gymnasium in Hangzhou, China, at the Asian Games. His gold was his second straight at the Asiad following his first at the 2018 edition in Jakarta-Palembang, Indonesia. 

The national esports team on Sept. 29 rejoices at China Hangzhou Esports Center after defeating Taiwan in the League of Legends (LoL) final to clinch the gold. Im Sung-jae hits a tee shot on Oct. 1 in the fourth round of the men's team golf competition at Hangzhou Westlake International Golf & Country Club. Comprising Jang Yu-bin, Cho Woo-young, Im and Kim Si-woo, Korea scored a combined 76-under-par 788 in the team event by the concluding fourth round on the event's final day. The squad defeated runner-up Thailand by 25 strokes and won the gold for the first time since the 2010 Asiad in Guangzhou, China. 

Shin Yu-bin (right) on Oct. 2 serves against North Koreans Cha Su-yong and Pak Su-gyong in women's doubles table tennis at Gongshu Canal Sports Park Gymnasium. Shin and teammate Jeon Ji-hee won the final that day over the North, 4-1, to win their country's first gold in the event since the 2002 Busan Asian Games.

B-boy Kim Hong-yul on Oct. 7 struts his stuff at a group round battle of the men's breaking competition at Gongshu Canal Sports Park Gymnasium. Kim finished second to Shigeyuki Nakarai of Japan for the silver, falling 2-1 in the final. Designated an official event in next year's Paris Summer Olympics, breaking made its Asian Games debut in Hangzhou. 

Weightlifter Park Hye-jeong on Oct. 7 clears her third clean and jerk attempt at the women's 87-kg final at Xiaoshan Sports Centre Gymnasium. She won the gold after lifting 125 kg in the snatch and 169 kg in the clean and jerk for a combined 294 kg. 

An Se-young (middle) on Oct. 7 suffers from knee pain during her match against China's Chen Yu Fei in the final of women's singles badminton at Binjiang Gymnasium. She injured her right knee while blocking Chen's attack in the first game. Despite receiving medical treatment and not being 100%, An showed her power in winning the title. 

The national baseball team on Oct. 7 defeated Taiwan, 2-0, in the Asiad final at Shaoxing Baseball and Softball Sports Centre in Shaoxing, located southeast of the main host city Hangzhou, for their fourth straight title in the competition. Striker Cho Young-wook on Oct. 7 celebrates his winning goal in the men's soccer finals versus Japan at Huanglong Sports Centre Stadium. The team won, 2-1, to become the first to pull off a three-peat in the event at the Asian Games. 

The main batch of the Asiad delegation on Oct. 9 takes a group photo at Terminal 1 of Incheon International Airport. "The people passionately encouraged and supported us" Korean Sport and Olympic Committee President Lee Kee Heung said soon after the team arrived back in Korea and expressed his greetings and gratitude. "Thanks to this, our athletes achieved their desired results without injury and returned home."
