National soccer team midfielder Lee Kang-in (Paris Saint-Germain) has made the all-tournament team of this year's Asian Cup.
The Asian Football Confederation on Feb. 13 released its "best 11" squad of the competition on its official social media accounts.
Lee earned his spot on the all-tournament team as the right winger in a 3-4-3 formation. He was also the only player from East Asia to make the list.
The midfielder played for Korea in all six games from the group stage to the semifinals, scoring three goals and dishing out one assist.
Leading the list was the tournament's most valuable player and top scorer, Akram Afif of Qatar, followed by Aymen Hussein (Iraq) and Yazan Al Naimat (Jordan). The midfield comprised Lee, Hassan Al Haydos (Qatar), Craig Goodwin (Australia) and Mehdi Ghayedi (Iran).
On defense, Lucas Mendes (Qatar), Ali Al Bulayhi (Saudi Arabia) and Abdallah Nasib (Jordan) were selected, while Qatar's Meshaal Barsham was named the tournament's best goalkeeper.
