Jeong Howon and Kang Sunhee will play for the gold medal in mixed pair BC3 boccia of the Paris Summer Paralympics.
The duo on Sept. 4 defeated their Argentinean counterparts Stefania Ferrando and Rodrigo Romero, 4-2 (3-0, 0-1, 1-0, 0-1) at South Paris Arena 1.
The Jeong-Kang pair on Sept. 5 face in the final Hong Kong, which beat Thailand in the other semifinal. Earning the gold in the men's individual event, Jeong will seek his second gold of the competition and teammate Kang, who won a bronze, eyes her first gold.
Kim Gi Tae on Sept. 4 plays Thiago Gomes of Brazil in the quarterfinals of the Paris Summer Paralympics' men's singles MS11 table tennis at Arena 4 of South Paris Arena.
Korea on the same day also won four more medals in table tennis.
Kim Jung-Gil, Kim Young-Gun, Kim Gi Tae and Yoon Jiyu all made the semifinals to secure at least a bronze.
As of Sept. 5 at 10 a.m. Korean Standard Time, the national team had four gold, seven silver and 11 bronze medals.
