Figure skater Cha Jun-hwan on Jan. 25 clinched the silver medal in the men's single free skate at the International Skating Union (ISU) Four Continents Figure Skating Championships in Beijing.
His victory was a positive result as he prepares to compete in next month's Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics in Italy.
In the Chinese capital, Cha had a technical element score of 97.46 and a program component score of 87.27 for his season-high 184.73.
Adding his short program score of 88.89 from the previous day, he finished with a total of 273.62, second only to Kao Miura of Japan (273.73).
Dressed in white, Cha skated to "Balada Para un Loco," the same music he performed to in his free skate program last season.
Cha has seen success at the Four Continents tournament, winning the gold in 2022, bronze in 2024 and silver last year.
