The national team at the Asian Para Games in Japan on the fourth day of competition added gold medals in shooting, swimming, table tennis and cycling.

Korea on Oct. 22 thus achieved its target of at least 21 golds at the tournament.

Shooter Lee Jangho won the mixed 50-m rifle prone SH1 at Aichi Prefectural General Shooting Gallery in Toyota, Aichi Prefecture, with an Asiad-record 248.2 points. Park Jinho took the silver with 247.5 and Hwang Jeongmin the bronze with 227.

This was the first time that Korea swept all three medals in a shooting event of the games since the 2014 tournament in Incheon, as well as the country's first such sweep at an overseas edition of the event.

In swimming, Cho Giseong won the men's 150-m individual medley (SM4) with a time of 2 minutes, 43.36 seconds. This was his first Asian Para Games gold since 2014, when he won the 200-m freestyle.
