The Korea International Packaging Exhibition, or Korea Pack 2014, was held over four days from June 10 to 13 at KINTEX, an exhibition hall in Goyang City, Gyeonggi-do (Gyeonggi Province).

This exhibition, marking its 19th year, offered an opportunity for people to learn more about the development of the packaging industry in Korea and to share in the latest trends and information about packaging technology taking place across the world. A total of 1,000 firms from 23 countries participated in the exhibition, covering the technology and machinery used in packaging, automated packaging processes, package printing, package processing, food processing and logistics. More than 50,000 buyers from both Korea and overseas visited the four-day event.

For this year’s exhibition, there were an increased number of firms from the automated packaging sector and the printing technology sector. These companies introduced various types of packaging and printing technology, ranging from inkjet and laser printing to label printing, 3D printing and cutting machines and technology for sample packaging.
