President Park told her Rwandan counterpart, “I am aware that this is your third visit to Korea. You have quite an affection for Korea and take a strong interest in Korea’s developmental experience. Your previous visits here helped improve bilateral cooperation, led to more active people-to-people exchanges between high-ranking officials in both countries and helped with the building of embassies in both countries.”

President Park said, “I hope that your visit will help Korea and Rwanda cooperate more closely as mutual development partners. Considering the will and potential of Rwanda, I believe there are great possibilities for the two countries to expand their economic cooperation.”

She also emphasized that coffee is a symbol of the two nations' bilateral trade, saying, “Koreans love to drink coffee and coffee from Rwanda is quite popular in Korea. I hope both countries can improve trade in items like coffee and can extend the range of their economic exchanges.”

The Rwandan leader responded by saying, “The ITU Plenipotentiary Conference has been successfully held. I am happy to conclude my trip to Korea with this summit.”
