President Park Geun-hye sent a message of condolences to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on April 18 over the hardship that Japan is experiencing due to the strong earthquakes that hit the southern island of Kyushu on April 14 and 16.
In the message, President Park expressed her deep sympathy and condolences over the loss of many lives and property damage caused by the earthquake, and hoped that the incident would soon be under control. She then further expressed the government’s will to provide assistance to Japan throughout its recovery.
