With the one-on-one meeting between North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and U.S. President Donald Trump beginning on Feb. 28 at 9 a.m., the International Media Center (IMC) in Hanoi, Vietnam was bustling with journalists writing articles and reporting on the situation.
They used a host of laptops and cameras spanning a number of brands, but also received complementary beverages and food like bottled water, sandwiches, tropical fruits, soft drinks and coffee. Most of the items were Vietnamese but the famous Korean bakery franchise Paris Baguette pitched in with bottled water and sandwiches.
While reporters at the International Media Center on Feb. 28 at 9 a.m. are busy with their work, complementary bottled water is provided for their convenience.
Water seemed to be the most popular freebie at the IMC, with four or five bottles found on each desk.
