The 2021 P4G Seoul Summit Preparatory Office will hold events to raise awareness of the upcoming climate event slated for May 30-31 in the nation's capital.

The office on May 3 said it will utilize its social media channels such as those of Facebook and Instagram for its "Green Book Campaign," in which participants can upload photos of their eco-friendly actions in daily life.

Posting photos of green actions such as using tumblers and attaching the hashtag #더늦기전에지구를위한행동, which means "action for the planet before it's too late," could earn participants a souvenir such as an eco-friendly bag.

The photos will be compiled in a publication called "Green Book."

Daelim Museum in Seoul's Jongno-gu District from May 20 will hold the exhibition "Tong's Vintage" featuring works by 23 teams of emerging domestic artists.

The office said it hopes the exhibition is an opportunity for viewers to consider the meaning of responding to climate change and sustainable development.

All IKEA stores in Korea will hold exhibitions of sustainable products to convey the summit's message.

Jeju Province Development Corp., which produces and sells the bottled water brand Jeju Samdasoo, will launch late this month an eco-friendly "green edition" of the drink without plastic labels.

Domestic e-commerce giant Coupang will host the sales promotion "P4G Limited Edition Special Exhibition" featuring eco-friendly products.

The P4G is a multilateral network that aims to expedite green growth and Sustainable Development Goals for 2030 through the expansion of public-private cooperation worldwide. Its 12 member states include Korea and Denmark and the summit is held every two years.
