The forum "Inclusive Green Partnership," a preliminary event of the forthcoming Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals (P4G) 2030 Summit, was held on May 10 at The Plaza Hotel in Seoul.

Climate change experts discussed developing the partnership mentioned in the forum's title, including cooperation between the public and private sectors. The partnership is one of the main themes of the May 30-31 summit in Seoul.

Representatives from the Seoul-based international organizations Global Green Growth Institute and Green Climate Fund as well as those from Korea International Cooperation Agency, ASEM (Asia-Europe Meeting) SMEs (Small and Medium-size Enterprises) Eco-innovation Center and Green Technology Center presented their experiences with green collaboration between government and the private sector.

The event had no spectators due to the COVID-19 pandemic and was broadcast live on the summit's official YouTube channel.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement, "Starting with this preliminary event to successfully host the P4G Summit 20 days ahead of its launch, we will designate May 24-29 'Green Future Week' and prepare sessions on various topics including civil society, future generations and green finance."
