The slogan for the inauguration of the nation's 20th president is "Again, Republic of Korea! A new nation of the people" (unofficial translation).
The official ceremony is slated for May 10 on the front yard of the National Assembly in the Yeouido neighborhood of Seoul's Yeongdeungpo-gu District.

He said the preparatory committee was considering foremost how to revive a sense of hope among the struggling people, adding that on inauguration day, the committee will do everything it can to make the people fully feel the atmosphere of the start of a new era.
The chairperson said the design of the slogan considered the country taking a huge leap forward and where the people are the master, things that President-elect Yoon has ordinarily emphasized, and the emblem utilizes the traditional knot dongshimgyeol, which symbolizes promise, to represent the pledge for and promise of a new Korea.
The inauguration begins on May 10 at midnight with the ringing of the Bosingak bell in Seoul's Jongno-gu District to mark the beginning of a new administration. The main ceremony will take place later that morning on the front yard of the National Assembly, and an afternoon event will host leading domestic officials and foreign guests.
Those who wish to attend the inauguration ceremony can apply to do so by April 14 on the transition committee's website.
