A promotional video with the message of strengthening ties between Korea and Indonesia is being screened in the Southeast Asian country on the occasion of President Yoon Suk Yeol's official visit there to attend the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit.

The Office of the President said, "To mark President Yoon's attendance at ASEAN-related events in Indonesia and his official visit there, a promotional video stressing Indonesia as a key partner in peace and mutual prosperity from Sept. 3 has been screened on electronic displays in five locations within Jakarta."

Running for about 30 seconds under the theme "The Republic of Korea stands with Indonesia," the video is being screened at the large indoor LED board of Korea 360, a promotional center of the Korean government in downtown Jakarta, and on the outdoor electronic boards of four major branches.

The Office of the President said that on the occasion of their 50th year of bilateral ties, the video lauds the growth of both countries in sectors such as technological development, economic cooperation, and cultural and human exchanges, as well as conveying a message to further strengthen collaboration.

"To mark the 50th anniversary of bilateral relations, we made the video so that the people of both countries can again feel the significance of bilateral relations, which have rapidly developed through cooperation in a variety of sectors, and jointly devise a vision for the future," it added.

"We hope that the promotional video being screened at Korea 360, which is emerging as a leading attraction in Jakarta, offers an opportunity for many Indonesians to develop a bigger interest in Korea and get more familiar with the country."
