Early voting for the June 3 presidential election began on May 29.
A combined 3,568 polling stations are opened for two days for the task from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Over the period, voters can visit any station near them without the need for separate registration.
Information on the locations of the stations is available on the website of the National Election Commission (www.nec.go.kr) or domestic web portals.
To vote, a person must bring a photo ID issued by a government or public office such as a national registration card, passport or driver's license.
A mobile ID is also acceptable, though an image or screenshot of it is not. A mobile app must be run on-site to confirm one's photo, name and date of birth.
