At Cheong Wa Dae, both sides signed an agreement on climate change cooperation and memorandums of understanding (MOUs) on joint efforts in maritime security and the development of cooperation in technology, digital and innovation.
First, Seoul and Accra agreed to cooperate in responding to climate change and the development of relevant technology, as well as launch a joint committee to this end.
Their MOU on maritime security stipulated close cooperation in personnel exchanges such as training, education and seminars; sharing of information for responding to global crimes at sea such as piracy and trafficking of arms and drugs as well as search and rescue missions for people, vessels and aircraft.
To develop cooperation in technology, digital and innovation, both sides will reinforce vocational training to produce skilled youth.
