Arts Council Korea was established to promote creativity and enjoyment of the arts by supporting diverse arts and cultural activities in Korea. The Council consists of eleven dedicated professinals of the culture and arts sector in Korea.

Korean Craft Promotion Foundation is a subsidiary body of Culture Ministry that provides a place to exchange information on craftwork and culture and tourism products in Seoul's Insa-dong. Its work include conducting studies on commercialization of cultural products, providing support through internship programs, engaging in design R&D, building a database of Korean culture and tourism products, sponsoring attendance in overseas exhibitions, holding exchange exhibitions with artists from abroad among others.
