KIAF 2009 (2009 Korea International Art Fair)

Korea International Art Fair (KIAF) organized by the Galleries Association of Korea in 2002 has become one of the most important venues for presenting modern Korean art in Korea. Many prestigious artworks from home and abroad were on display for the past successful years, capturing the hearts of many art lovers at home.


For this year KIAF has appointed India as the honored guest country and will present some of the promising art works there, notable from the Guild Art Gallery and Gallery Sumukha. Also, over 60 galleries from home and another 28 galleries from U.S., China, Japan, Hong Kong, Peru, Australia and European countries will participate.


On the sideline, there will be plenty of other artist programs such as artists support program, artist portfolio presentation program, educational lectures on photography like shooting hidden spot, performance program and more. KIAF will also introduce a free Kids' Lounge a program to help children get closer to art.

Ticket Price: 15,000 won (10,000 won for students that include college)
Time: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. (On Sept. 22nd: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.)
