Good news for skiers! The annual YongPyong International Ski Festival is to open once again this Friday (Feb. 6).

All expats are invited to have fun by participating in this three-day ski festival with a 27-year history.

The ski resort offers a 30% discount on room accommodation, ski rental and lift tickets for all participants during the festival period.

An opening reception will be held in the evening of the first day of the festival on Feb. 6, followed by ski and snowboard races, an awards ceremony and a banquet on the second day, and a full day of skiing on the last day. The races will be divided into child, teen and adult age groups, and anyone can enter.

Reservations for hotel rooms or condominiums can be made by phone or e-mail. Due to the limited number of rooms, reservations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Also, ski/snowboard race entries may be made by e-mail or fax.
