Embassy of the Republic of Korea cooperated with the Korean Cultural Center in Thailand to visit Thailand Para Taekwondo and present Taekwondo equipments to the team on September 28.
    Thailand is the country which won Olympic silver medal in Taekwondo 2 times. According to Para Taekwondo, Thailand develops the ability continually too. Even with the condition of not ready, coach Shin Yeong-kyun and athletes could show their outstanding ability such as winning gold medal at World Para Taekwondo Championship 2019.
    Especially in 2021, there will be Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Japan. It will be the first year that Taekwondo is confirmed for official competition. Thailand Para Taekwondo is preparing for readiness by training. On September 28, Mr. Lee Wook-heon, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Thailand visited the Thailand Para Taekwondo to present Taekwondo equipments and encourage to the athletes.
    “Reach the dream and hope by Taekwondo”. Let’s cheer up Thailand Para Taekwondo wholeheartedly.
