Events at KCCs abroad



Organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, the Korean Cultural Center, the opening of the 2021 "PLEASURE THAT COMES WITH COFFEE" exhibition will be held on April 5th to 22th at the Korea Cultural Center 4th Floor exhibition hall. The exhibition can also be visited online at (www.kkmsergi.com).


The exhibition which will be displayed on digital platforms due to the pandemic, will offer a great opportunity for art lovers in Turkey to meet with coffee art and will also help introducing the Korean-Turkish friendship along with Korean culture to its visitors.



In this exhibition, artworks of Hanbok (Korean traditional clothing), Taekwondo, Taegeukgi (Korean Flag), Hanok (Korean Traditional House) and a portrait of Yi Sun-Sin, the Korean Admiral, will be displayed. Especially, to commemorate the 111th anniversary of the death of the Korean Independence activist, Ahn Jung Geun, and the other independence activists who sacrificed their lives for Korea during the Japanese occupation, the martyr Yun Bong-gil and the martyr Yu Gwan-Sun’s portraits will be exhibited. In addition, portrait of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, artworks of Antalya Castle and other cultural elements such as Turkish traditional doorknob will be displayed at the exhibition.
