Representatives from the Asian American Youth Council visited the Consulate General to present a proclamation from Tenafly Mayor Mark Zinna designating October 21, 2021, as the borough’s “Korean Hanbok Day” on Wednesday, May 5. Consul General Won-sam Chang expressed his appreciation to the council for their meaningful work and activism. He also encouraged them to continue their efforts to raise cultural awareness among young Korean-Americans and their local communities.
