The Korean Cultural Centre in Canada (KCC, Director Sungeun Lee) held a Korean food sauce contest to celebrate the 2021 Korea Week.
This contest was conducted by developing my own recipe using Korean fermented sauce and submitting it online.
Creative and diverse sauces were developed and received from all over Canada.
The contest was evaluated by chef Kyle MacNeil, professor of culinary arts at Algonquin College,
chef Sunna Na, a Korean food instructor at the KCC, and Sungeun Lee, director of the KCC.
The winner went to Jashanpreet Singh, who developed the "Tamchi" sauce.
